ARGY KOUTSOTHANASIS is a twenty-year veteran of the fashion industry. Most recently, she served as fashion director at FITNESS, where she styled the magazine’s covers, celebrity features, fashion and beauty portfolios. She was the creative force behind the brand’s fashion-meets-fitness content, and launched its Hot Stuff! franchise. She is a sought-after expert having been interviewed for THE NEW YORK TIMES and RACKED.COM among other publications. Argy has made numerous television appearances as a trend forecaster and has styled dozens of celebrities, athletes, and real women. She has also worked as the costume designer for a number of commercials.

Prior to joining FITNESS, Argy was the fashion director at Conde Naste’s GOLF FOR WOMEN for a decade, overseeing the magazine’s fashion content and establishing the brand’s voice as the ultimate style destination for women in golf.

A passionate and enthusiastic runner, she accomplished a lifelong goal when she competed in the Athen’s Marathon in 2009. She lives in Astoria where she keeps a second bedroom as her dressing room eschewing the time-honored NYC tradition of having to store and unpack seasonal items. Her style motto is “less is more” and she views fashion as the ultimate tool in the confidence game.

She is a disciplined editor happily applying her skill to the overflowing closets of friends and family. Her favorite hobby is purging her own wardrobe.
